A person has died in a fire that engulfed an industrial warehouse.
Firefighters were called to a marine engineering facility on Zeta Crescent,in O'Connor,in Perth's south,at about 3.30pm on Saturday.
Thirteen crews worked to extinguish the blaze for an hour before it was brought under control.
WA Police have confirmed one body was found inside the warehouse.
It's unclear if anyone else was inside the building at the time it caught alight.
Arson squad detectives have been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
Thick black smoke was seen billowing into the sky with nearby residents told to stay inside with all windows and doors closed.
